As many of you know, I am leaving my position at Columbia College Chicago and packing my bags for Boston! It’s a big life change and I’m excited at all the possibilities.

May will be here before you know it! We are gearing up for our fourth annual Industry Night.

Wildly successful out the gate with over 6 showcases and 250 professionals in one evening, the event has grown into several nights (and even days!) with an anticipated professional audience of 750.

Here’s a big shout out to Adam Daniel’s photography blog. He was so impressed with last year’s Industry Night that he actually photographed the student business cards he collected! Can’t wait to see what he’ll collect this year…

PDN chose Columbia College Chicago to host their PDN’s 30: Strategies of Young Working Photographers. My favorite quote from the editor:

“If I knew there were going to be so many people here, I would have ordered more cheese! We never get such a good turnout!”

Apparently she’s never been to one of my events…
